Surgery!

so on Thursday December 2nd I had a varicous vein removed in my right leg. I have actually been doing really well. I haven't had to much pain. I have been able to walk around which has been nice. Luckly my surgery was in the morning since I couldn't eat or drink after midnight. I had to be at the hospital at 6:00 am and my surgery was at 7:30. I have been taking it easy mostly. Went to Nate's game yesterday. I still can't drive until monday when I get the ace bandage off.

Moved!

I always hate when I get this far behind in updating my blog. But if it counts for anything I have been super busy and haven't had a computer. But I finally moved out! I am now living in Provo. I love it. I have great roommates and I am liking my ward. I am now only ten minutes away from work instead of the thirty minutes like before. I have been living in this apartment(Duplex) since the begining of September. at least we have two fridges and two bathrooms which is nice.

Camping Trip!

So yesterday I got home from the Singles Ward Camping Trip. We went to Millsite State park down in Ferron. We could boat, play on a trampoline in the lake and there was a platform out in the lake we could play on. They did a triatholion, but I didn't do it. I did do the shotgun shooting though. I have lovely bruises on my shoulder from it. I mostly played in the lake and went shooting. One day we went into town and got drinks and some ice for coolers. Friday we went to the Castle Valley Pagent. I was very sore that night and found it very hard to sit still on the metal seats. I was also very sleepy. We were gone from July 28th to July 31st. Yesterday a group of us went to Pizza Pie cafe for dinner and then played games after. I was very happy to be sleeping in my own bed last night.

Catch up session!

The Daycare that I was subing at a couple times a week offered me a teaching position in May. So Since May I have been working with the kids ranging from infant up to four years old. The job takes alot of energy but I am liking working with the kids. In the Fall I am going to be working with the toddlers.

Tomorrow my family is leaving for Las Vegas and then Anheim, California. They will be gone til the first of August. Sunday my wonderful aunt is letting me come spend the day with them. Then on the 28th I go out of town until the thirty first. Singles ward trip down in Emery county. my old stomping grounds. I am way excited.

Family!

Okay Well these needed to be switched around, but I can't figure it out. The first Picture was taken this May and the other one was taken in 2005. I put both these up so you can see how much we have changed since we had last had a family picture. I think Nate and Abby have changed the most. Shelby and I just look older I think. I like our new family picture alot.

New Dog, not so happy with!

So the new dog is driving me nuts. Here is everything he has done:
* Tore a hole in my pants.
* eats socks.
* the other day I heard him doing something and when I called him to the office, he came in with my phone in his mouth. That was the last straw.
* I am allergic to him so I don't like him jumping on him.(I get hives everytime he does.) I can't wait for him to spend more time outside without us.

New Car!

So My old car has expired! It was a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan. It had so manny issues. I was surprised it still started. Here is what was wrong: no headlights, no speedometer, only the driver

door unlocked, it wouldn't go over ten miles an hour, I had to figure out how to tell whether I was in drive, park, or reverse. I had hated that car since I was sixteen and learning how to drive.

So Friday I got a new car. I paid for it! I got a 2005 Honda Accord. It really is strange to drive a car that has headlights and the doors unlock. But it is nice to drive a smaller car then a mini van. So I am very happy with this car!

My messed up car!

Okay my car has had issues since December. But they were ones that I could deal with and still drive it. The problems were That my doors don't unlock when I unlock the car(the driver door does), I had one low beam light and one high beam light. Then the low beam went out and I only had the high beam. Then Thursday when I was leaving from nannying, the high beam went out and it started honking randomly.
So as I am driving home it would honk. People were coming out of the neighbors house that I didn't know and of course it honked then. But when I got home I turned the car off and it still honked. So I tried pushing the panic button to see if that would turn it off. Oh no it just did it constantly. My dad had to take the fuse out of the car to get it to stop. My lights were also flashing.
So I am looking for a new car now and can't drive my old one at night. which is problematic. Since I do things with friends at night. Now I have to see if I can drive my parents car of get a ride. Which if I get a ride I have to wait until my ride is ready to go home. I don't like staying out to late.
So that is my car right now. Just waiting until I have worked at my new job for awhile.

Found a Job!

I have been subing at a daycare in Orem a couple of times. whenever someone needs me. But the other day they called and offered me a teaching position. I will be working with the two year olds. I have to have a one year contract there. So I applied at Utah Valley University and got accepted. So I will continue living at home. I will be going to school and working come August. I am saving up for a car right now and so that I can go to France when Stephanie goes again. I just need to figure out my schedule for school now and what classes I am going to take. But I am excited.

Majka!

So on Saturday we got a new puppy! His name is Majka. Mom wasn't too excited about it. But my little sister Abby kept begging for one. He's in the puppy phase were he tries to get into everything. such as standing on the dishwasher door. He has also figured out that if you just push our laundry room door it opens. We have to make sure everything is off the floor or he will eat it. Hence why there is a hole in Nate's sock. He is really cute. Just a big handful right now.

Being an Adult can Suck!

Why is it that we always have these plans that need money, but never have enough money for all of them? 1. I am in need of a new car(mine i has no headlights, the passenger door doesn't unlock when I click to unlock, and it is hard to see out when I look over my shoulder). 2. I am planning on going to France in either October of this year or March of next year. 3. I am going back to school hopefully in August. I mostly have the money for France. I just need the spending money for the trip. Then I also need to save up for school and a car.
Oh yeah a job may be nice. I quite the job I had because it was to stressful and to far to drive too. So I am currently looking for a job. I still nanny and will get called to sub at a Daycare in Orem sometimes. But I need a job that I can do every day. Well thats my life right now.

Oh Man!

Okay I know it is really bad when it is four months since I last wrote. A lot has happened since then.

1. I am applying to LDS Business College.
2. My Major has changed. (I am now thinking of doing Paralegal)
3. Today was my last day at Sorenson Communications. (just couldn't handle the drive and being on the phone for five hours straight. never been big on talking on the phone for myself.)
4. I applied at Deseret Book. But haven't heard yet if I got the job.

I promise that I will be much better on writing and keeping my blog up to date.

Christmas in California!

So Christmas was a little different this year.
Christmas Day we left for Palm Springs,
California. My brother Nate had a basketball
tournament there. So we all went. Nate rode
the bus and my parents, little Sister Abby and
I drove. But we spent Christmas Night in
Las Vegas. Nothing is really open on Christmas.
So when we stopped to eat in Cedar City we
only had to options of place to eat. Any guess
what they were? It was Denny's or IHOP.
We chose IHOP because we came to it first.
So we finally got to Vegas got a hotel and then just got up and drove the rest of the way to California. We got there in time to check into
our hotel and then we had to leave for his games.
Sunday it was just Abby, Me and my parents. so we went on a hike. It was a hike in a canyon like anyone here in Utah except it had palm trees coming out of the rocks. It was really cool. Below is Abby and I on a bent Palm tree. Shelby was able to join us on Tuesday and went to some games. Then when Nate was done on tuesday we went to Redlands to my aunt anduncles house. We just hung out and then wentto bed because Thursday we went to Universal Studios. It has some really great rides such as Jurassic Park, The Mummy and then some great shows. Friday we saw some place in Redlands including the Redlands Temple. Saturday we got up early and made the long trip back to Utah. Stopped in Price and got mom's car. we went to dinner with Grandpa Bill. It was a great trip but it is great to be home.
