Being an example of the believers!
So this last week at work I had a really neat experience with one of the agents that works for us. She had e-mailed asking if I was mad at her
cause I guess I had sounded frustrated with her. I had had some frustrating agents before her. So I guess I may have sounded frustrated with her. I had let her know I
wasn't. I also thanked her for calling me out on it and then we got talking and she said that she didn't know what
faith I was but that she believed that god takes care of all of us. I let
her know that I was Mormon she then told me she was going to be having
he missionaries over and was asking what they drink since we don't drink
coffee. She also asked if they would like cupcakes. So I told he water or
milk. Then we got talking about how I had a brother who was serving
right now and that we got to skype with you on Christmas and mothers
day. She couldn't believe that we only got to talk with you twice a
year. She said she has a son that doesn't talk with her very often. She
also said that she believed that the missionaries were doing amazing things
and that they come home better men. She also told me she was going to
pray for for my brother. This really was an awakening moment for me. I realized that I truly need to be an example and be more open to sharing my beliefs with others. We have brothers and sisters out there just searching for the truth. We can truly be an instrument in the hands of God. We just need to be praying for opportunities to help him in our daily lives. I love this gospel. I am so thankful for the comfort and guidance I can receive in my life through prayer and scripture study. My we all strive to be instruments in Gods hands!
