it really is amazing how time goes by quicker then you think. You are excited for something to come or think that it is going to be the longest two years of your life when all of the sudden those things are upon us or past.
I thought when my brother Nate left on his mission that it was going to be the longest two years of my life. Not being able to see him or talk to him almost everyday like before. The first 10 months went by pretty quick I thought and then it really seemed to slow down. Now all of the sudden he is going to be home in 8 months. It is amazing that when you keep busy and have good things going on in your life how times does quickly go by.
It is crazy to think that my friend Kaylee is going to home in April. I have kind of felt at a loss lately since she left. She was always there to talk to and hang out with and then she left on her mission and it was like a cold turkey cutoff. She has really be an amazing friend to me and I am truly blessed to know and have her as my friend.
August 12th- I know this is 8 months away but who wouldn't be excited to see their sibling after 2 years. I really am so lucky to have Nate as my one and only brother. I know he and I would fight all the time when we were younger but whenever I needed him he was always there. Having him gone for so long makes me realize that I am the luckiest girl in the world to be his sister. Nate is: kind, courteous, gentle giant, loving, outgoing, a great friend, and someone that everyone wants to be with.
Sometimes time can be a good thing. Make you realize that what has happened in the past has shaped you to the person you are to become. The time in the future is only there to help us become who we need to be and discover the "Simple Pleasures" in life.
