February to December 2003

February 23, 2003

Today we went to Calvary Baptist church. It was boring because they only sang songs. But it was kind of cool to see what kind of songs they sing.

Tomorrow is the last day of School. I am excited to get out of school and to go to EFY with Lauren.

June 16, 2003 Monday

Today I am having a sleepover with Lyndsi and Lauren. Because Lauren is moving to St. George.

June 23, 2003 Monday (Highland 19th ward)

We drove to Wyoming for Youth Conference. Some went river rafting and some stayed back to setup camp. It rained. I played uno with sister Gines. We did workshops, had a fireside. I wasn't feeling loved today.

June 24, 2003 Tuesday

It rained again today. Some went river rafting. I didn't. I'm going Friday. Had more workshops today. Had fireside.

June 25, 2003 Wednesday

We went on a hike today. We also had a picnic lunch. There was a chipmunk eating off of my lap. Had workshops and fireside.

June 26, 2003 Thursday

We went repelling today. I got scared and didn't do it. Tacia Rimchessil was so nice to me.

June 27, 2003

My mom and dad are here with me at camp. I didn't really enjoy camp all that much, but now I do. Our camp song this year is "These are the Days" we did this secret sister gifts. My person was Tacia Rimchessil.

July 28, 2003 Monday (EFY)

We were escorted to the orientation and FHE by a boy. The boy had both me and Lauren. The boys were very talkative. Their are deaf people here this week. We learned what a rag picker is. they would look for things people thought were junk and would use them. We have a chance to change somebodies life. " if you  have a chance do peer tutoring. I think this is going to be a good experience for me spiritually. I am so glad Lauren came to efy with me. I am glad I am here.

November 2, 2003

I am fifteen years old. I want to marry someone like Moroni, Helamen and Nephi. We went to Deer Springs ranch for UEA. We went to Zions, grand canyon. We went with the Chase's (who live down the street from us). We rode Ben's four wheeler and played card games. We also went to the Glen canyon dam. Were we took an elevator to the bottom of the dam. the dam is also used for a power plant. When we were at Zion's and the grand canyon we went on a hike. The Chase's cousin Josh went with. On Sunday we are having sacrament meeting at the Cabin. When I looked out the window and saw cows. They left cow pies in the yard of the cabin. The little kids went out side and stepped in some of the cow pies.

December 28, 2003

For Christmas I got a book, clothes, shoes, a mirror, ornament, they whole family got a ping pong table. My Grandparents from Denver came over for Christmas.
