Today Shelby, Shelby's friend Mandy and I went to the ropes course for Shelby's birthday. I rocked climbed and swung on a huge swing. It was fun.

For Saint Patrick's day we ate corn beef and cabbage. On Friday we went to Grandma's and worked in her yard. She had mint chocolate ice cream for me. It is my favorite.

This last week we went on Trek from the 14th to the 17th. We had an experience just like the really pioneers. We had to eat flour one night. We had a rescue party come and feed us. We pulled handcarts and had people die like the pioneers did. It was so neat and uplifting.

Today I turned 16. I got a bag from my aunt Chris, Jackets from Grandma Kay, 16 year old doll and a bracelet from Grandma Fran. I got clothes from Grandma Jody and Grandpa Don. I had a birthday party. We played games and went to Princess Dairies 2. On the Saturday before my birthday. The gifts I got are: An AF Blanket that my Friend Lyndsi's mom made for me, a journal and Candy from Rachel Chase, Candy and the Charly c.d from Melissa McCelland. Brooke and Brittany Jess gave me a bear and a Random c.d. Sister Campbell game a scrapbook. Lauren Wade sent me a card. My dad took me on my first date on my birthday. He brought me a rose and a cool card. We went to Shrek 2. he made me a big sign that he hung on the front porch that said "Alexis sweet 16". I had the best birthday ever.

Today was Brynne Wright's birthday. She turned 16. We brought her 16 candy canes, 16 M&M's and a 16 piece puzzle. We gave her 16 things since it was her 16th birthday.

My little Sister Abby got baptized on the 25th. She is the last one in our family to get baptized. She got baptized with her best friend Jordan Spencer and also with Victoria Geppert. They sang a song called "I come to the Water". Our dad baptized her. Aunt Chris, Uncle Mike and their kids, Mark & Holly and their kids, Grandma Fran & Grandpa Bill and Grandma Kay all came. Nate, Shelby and I were there. Some of Abby's, Jordan's and Victoria's friends came.

Today we went and visited Melissa McCelland because she has been sick. Shelby and Rachel made her a tape to listen to. It has songs and books on it.
October 1, 2004
Today was Nate's birthday party. We played flag football. I made a touch down because Jace Campbell passed the ball to me. It was fun. Anytime someone's flag came off we said they lost their pants. Nate's friends that came were: Jace Campbell, Spencer Vernon, Spencer Coleman, Garrett Skirvin, Justin Brockbank, Steve Clark, Dallin Horan and Dallin Vance.

This year and month I have learned how much my Savior loves & cares about me. Because I have prayed to him for help and he has helped me so much. I am thankful for that. I have another favorite song. It is "I feel my Saviors Love." Our Savior really does love and care about what happens to us.

On Thursday the 29th of October we went to Colorado. Thursday- Grandma made dinner and we watched a movie. A Cinderella Story. Friday- It was snowing so we went out to lunch and went on a tour of the Fairy cave. Then we went out to dinner. Saturday- Grandma made breakfast. French toast and sausage. We went and feed the horses. Then we went to a corn maze. Grandma made dinner. chicken, salad, Spinach caseroll. For lunch we had Pizza from a resturant next door. We watched another movie. Sunday- Grandma Jody made muffins and sausage for breakfast. We watched another movie. We went on a sculptor tour. Then went to Grandma Fran's house and had dinner. On Saturday we did trick-or-treating thing for Abby because Halloween was on Sunday.

Today for Personal Progress I went and learned what kind of schooling & student teaching a teacher goes through. I learned how long they are in school and what kind of classes they take. I also learned that there is an option to do an internship. I learned this from Abby's teacher Mrs. Seymour.

Today was Stake Conference. In which Ben Chase was called as the Young Single adult Bishop for a ward in Highland. Ben is our neighbor in Highland.

Today Shelby, Our Dad and I went to a Play at Hale Theater. It was called "Fiddler on the Roof." It was so funny. I liked it better than the movie.

Today was Renasonce day at my High School. It is where those who have good grades, GPAs and not a lot of tardies. We got to go play Bingo. I won a key card. I think it is where I enter my name in a drawing to win a car. That is what I think it is.

Today I got a new Sunday School teachers. Matt and Melanie Simpson (Lily's son and daughter-in-law) They are fun teachers.

Today my aunt Holly had her fourth baby. they have named her Sophia. She weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and 20 inches. I am very excited for a new baby cousin. So we are babysitting Kimball, Nick and Kate who got sick while she is here.

Tomorrow I am going to the movie the Incredibles with my laurel class. I can't wait. I have been excited since Friday. It'll be fun.

Today I went to the Incredibles. I went with my Laurel Class and Stephanie Scoresby our leader. It is a great movie.
November 20, 2004 Saturday
Today i went to the Incrediables again. This time I went with my family. All except for dad and Nate. Jordan came as well. Today we celebrated Kirsten Hatch's birthday. We took pictures with her then we scrape booked them. We ate dinner, played games and had cake and Ice cream. It was so much fun.

I have a new sunday school teachers. Matt & Melanie Simpson (Lily Simpson's son and daughter-in-law). They make the lessons so much fun. Because they are young and know what were going through, since they are so close to our age. Today we learned about the Abrahamic Covenant. It is a hard lesson to understand. On November 24th we are going to the Movie "The Work and the Glory. I can't wait because it is my favorite book.

Today my ceramics classroom was freezing. I thought I would turn into an Ice cube it was so cold. All my other classes were warm.

Today I watched the movie "Return to Me". It is a cute and funny movie. I watched it with my Laurel's class. Shelby came even though she is not a laurel. it was fun.
November 24, 2004 Wednesday
Today we went to the movie "The Work and the Glory." it was a great movie. I am glad that they are making more because I think the first one ended badly.
November 25, 2004 Thursday
Today we went to Chris' dad's house for Thanksgiving. Chris' brother and his wife and their two boys were there. Grandma Kay, my family, Dick, Mike, Chris and their three kids were there.

Today we went to Mark & Holly's house. To have cake and Ice-cream wihich we didn't have. but I got to see my new cousin Sophia Potter. Born November 17. She is so cute. I just lover her so much.

Today it snowed. Now it really is windy as I am trying to go to sleep. I probably will have trouble falling asleep because of the wind, but I am use to it now. Today Shelby and Abby hung Christmas lights. I helped a little. They did it while mom and dad were gone to Nate's games. He had three. they won two and lost one.

Today it was really wind, cold & snowy. The roads are icy. My mom missed our drive way this morning because of the ice.
Novmber 29, 2004 Monday
Today was Lauren Wade's birthday. She turned sweet sixteen. Today we painted our ornaments from last Christmas. We get an ornament every Christmas. Mine was a star. it was painted a country red and green with gold snowflake. I also did the stitching around the edge gold. It is awesome.
November 30, 2004 Tuesday
I have been driving around town with a parent in the car. I have driven from Lyndsi's house in American Fork. I don't drive when it is snowing hard like it was on Sunday. That was freezing cold. The was that was blowing was bitter cold.
