February to October 1996

February 4, 1996 (dad's writing)

I love my family. I love my grandma's and grandpa's. i love my aunts and uncles. I like school. I got a button for getting my school work done at school, it's called the "super kid" button. I take a "smart" pill before school each day. I'm already smart, but it helps me stay focused.

        Last week we went cross-country skiing. There was so much snow on the road that we just about got stuck. on one hill, we had to back up and try again three times before we got up. Skiing was fun.

           I like my teacher -- Mrs. Jeffs. She plays the piano in Primary, too. I like my classmates. I like to take test. I like computers. I like my computer teacher Mrs.  Monfredi. She is also my primary teacher.

      Today I gave a talk in Primary. It was about how I feel the Savior's love and what he did for me.
(my writing) I love my mom. She is going to have a baby this summer. We are so excited.

May 5, 1996 (mom's writing)

 I like to play with Leslie. she is my friend who lives across the street. we jump on her trampoline and play tea party. We don't drink real tea-just water.

 I like my Grandma Kay and Grandpa Reed. I like to visit them in S.L.C, but they came to visit us. To prepare myself for baptism I read the scriptures.

August 10, 1996 Sunday (mom's writing)

We have a new puppy but we might not be able to keep it, because mommy is going to have a baby this fall. He's a little black puppy. We are watching his brother right now who lives with our friends the Tuttle's.

We went to Brianhead last month and saw cousins that we haven't seen for a long time. We made a hut in the trees and some boys wrecked it. Papa is my uncle Bill Hull but he's the rest of my cousins grandpa so I call him Papa too.

I can't wait until school starts. I will be in a multi-age class. I love the puppy. I'm going to be baptized when I turn eight. I need to pray about the church and read my scriptures.

My uncle Mike and Aunt Chris announced that they are going to have a baby. Aunt Holly and Uncle Mark are having one any day. These babies will be my very first cousins.

My mom should have a baby girl and then I'll have a baby sister.

September 1996 (my writing)

I love my dog he loves me to. Ashes is her name. I love Grandma and Grandpa. I love Abigail my sister.

October 20,1996 Sunday (mom's writing)

I have a little baby sister and I love her very much. Mr. P. is my school teacher. (Prettyman) He gives us arithmatics to work on. I like him very much because he gives us tests.

Two weeks ago I was baptized by my daddy. The water was very cold. I was baptized along with Jacob Begay and Jacob had to pull the plug in the font when we were through. I asked my Grandpa Potter to give a talk on Baptism. I wore a white dress. It felt very strange and wasn't like swimming in a swimming pool.

I promised to keep the commandments so that I can live with Heavenly Father again.

Goals:
1- Say prayers every night before bed.
How: mommy will remind me.

2. Read the scriptures every school night.
